Designed by custom knife maker Dmitry Osarenko (D.O.C.K), The October features a well thought out profile - fitment in the hand feels natural and the forward blade choil allow you to choke up tight on the cutting edge for precision cutting work. The refined flipper tab is non protruding and stays out of the way when cutting down to make better use of the razor sharp 20-CV blade edge. It also allows it to be flicked open similar to a front flipper as well as a traditional flipper tab method and on top of this, the blade has a thumb hole cut out for thumb or middle finger flick deployment.

CPM 20-CV is one of the best steels for retaining an edge. This is due to the higher percentage of vanadium in this steel which creates a fine grain structure to better hold an edge. This mean sharpening will be required less frequently and you'll hold that razor edge for longer. The high performance of this blade steel certainly justifies its higher price.
