Assassin

In this day where there are so many top quality knives made with top quality materials, it's very easy to overlook a quiet achiever, I own two, the green Micarta & Carbon fibre both in 154CM, & while each of mine are certainly not stock out of the box, they are both easily one of the best & most reliable EDC beaters you can carry, we are spoilt with super steels but there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with 154CM AT ALL, razor sharp, takes a great edge, holds it all day long regarding a variety of tasks. Okay your not going to be battoning with the Assassin or lopping trees lol & if you are you may want to re-evaluate your knife selection lol but when it comes to a light use all day beater that you don't care if you scrape or scuff, the Kizer Assassin in 154CM is ABSOLUTELY one of my first picks. I didn't grow up spoilt nor do I feel like I deserve the best of the best, so maybe that's why I think so highly of the
Assassin, but if your on a budget & you need a light use all day reliable & effective EDC then you could do far worse than the Kizer Assassin. I once bought a houge Deka in magnacut, (the flimsy blue handle one) & guess what? The houge Deka (apart from the blade & various pieces) is in the bin & the Kizer Assassin has not missed a beat, still sharp, still effective, still great, still reliable & still going strong. It's largely overlooked because it's not "Top shelf" but I'll give you the tip, it's a bloody fantastic little light use EDC.

Absolutely love my Assassin. It not only works flawlessly and made of decent materials (154CM and green Micarta) it looks brilliant. My favourite knife in my collection including US and German brands. Kizer have done an excellent job, the black packaging is also really attractive. I was skeptical of the button lock, but I'm now addicted. Between the bearing and the button lock the blade is so smooth to open/close. If you can get one, just do it. Can't go wrong for the price.

This is a cool knife with its button lock, you can flip it or hold the button and flick it, the workmanship on it is so pristine and the blade is razor sharp!
