Ki-V

It's True, I could not choose. So I just got two. Pictured sized up against a Victorinox Deluxe Tinker. Mainly wanted a smaller knife for opening boxes and packages. The Ki-V fits the bill perfectly.

Civivi make a great knife. After some thoughtful stick sharpening, pondering the meaning of life as we know it, I found that the edge held up quite well. It would no longer shave hair, but there was no damage and was still way sharp enough to do its job. The slip joint is perfect, keep in mind the handle is complimentary and serves no purpose in the use of the blade, use your thumb or finger on top of the blade and it is very effective. Love it.

I use it everyday for work as a mechanical fitter in a construction site. Surprisingly tougher than most metal I worked on, as I use it quite a lot when scratching some surface rusts from heavy wall carbon pipe flanges(as a last resort). I had to be careful not to damage the pipe flange. It's a perfect "safe", concealed knife for site jobs.

Prior to this knife I had CRKT Dually for at least a month of daily use but shortly fell apart. As of writing this, this knife stood daily use and abuse for over a year and still going strong.
Only retiring it now because I want to try new knife

This is a SMALL knife, I mean seriously small. So far it's been super useful for boxes and tucks away great.
No blade lock will take a bit to get used to but overall perfect for what I was looking for.
