Nice looking knife

This knife is aesthetically outstanding and feels quality. After a couple weeks used on the job, the functionality has been great, super sharp from factory. Quality steel and love the locking system, it’s fidgety and strong. On the heavier side in terms of weight, not so much a problem for belt wearers, feels nicely balanced from each end when deployed as well. Loving this knife.

Usually have one Vosteed in my daily rotation.
This one is and near the top, perfect size, weight and ergos. Love the iron wood scales,and can not wait to see how they wear in, and then I can change them. Really nice package

Seriously good I have a lot of budget price knives but this psyop 299 is as good as it gets one of the knifes that lot of others will be judged on

Knife is has a perfect weight in the pocket. Not too heavy, not too light. The blade is S35VN which cuts nicely, and the blade geometry proves to be a good slicer.
The push button liner lock is quite hard to push and not as comfortable as I’d like. It doesn’t feel natural to release. The bearings are good and the action is very smooth. The micarta handle is a slight bit too small, but manageable. Pocket clip is a wire style, not really my fit. If it were a deep carry solid, that would be the cherry on top.
Overall a good knife.

Very impressed by this knife. really not sure why more companies havnt done laser etching more, feels like a custom knife at a fraction of the cost, then swap out the scales for a even more customised look.

Vosteed have to stop doing this - releasing so much great gear as my bank a/c isn't too happy with me atm. Seriously tho I am stoked to have managed to get one of these - there were a few people vying for this particular one on AC release night it seems. For a long while the Porcupine was my #1 pocket knife & for EDC it probably still is but this knife has taken the crown overall, as for me it is perfection. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Incredibly snappy but also smooth action, grippy micarta handle & quality materials plus beautiful engraving on this particular version. It's a long term keeper for sure.

What hasn't already been said about this knife. Superb action. Love the 'vintage' red Micarta. Vosteed are putting out some amazing knifes.

I have several VOSTEED knives, and i have to say the finish and the smooth acction on this Psyop is the best of them all. Amazing for the price considering i tate it up there with my much more expensive BENCHMADE and WE Knives. Its seriously that good!

Excellent knife. Solid action with a strong detent. Makes a lovely solid sound when the liner lock engages. As this one has the brass bolster it does have a little weight to it but not too much. Also love the colourway on this version.

Compared to a Benchmade, amazing value and build.

Beautiful knife, ergos are great, action is great and the micarta feel is something else, like grippy velvet. Love it!

This is an aesthetically pleasing knife. The ergonomics are good and comfortable. The detent is excellent, reverse flick fires out with an authoritative snap! The tactileness of the micarta handle and titanium bolster is great. Overall an attractive, awesome knife!

This is my 5th knife & 3rd Vosteed. I'm no collector but I do appreciate the Vosteed quality manufacturing. The 299 is the perfect size for pocket carry & the S35VN steel blade comes razor sharp. The thumb flick to open the blade feels perfectly engineered. I picked the teal green with brass because with a little oil from your skin the scales become a rich green that compliments the brass. The one minor critism I have is the finger choil, compared to the Vosteed Porcupine, is not large enough for an average sized index finger and will cut.

This is a perfect pocket knife for my intended use as an edc general purpose knife. Used in the Garden, home renovations, opening packages etc. Also as a secondary blade when out in the bush.
