Chevalier | Button Lock

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and honestly wow. After falling in love with button locks when the civivi elementum dropped. I instantly wanted something a bit more premium, so I ended up buying a protect melabour And honestly despite the Civivi Chevalier prices its right up there. Great action, G10 is nice and the stone wash finish is perfect, for a 5th of the price of the Malibu!
I've just started a EDC/4x4 youtube channel and Adventure Carry has been my go to for an Australian blade supplier, good price and amazing shipping.

Only downside is they don't have Afterpay so I can't hide my purchases from the wife! Haha

This has fit really well into my collection. The Cogent has been my favourite button lock flipper and now this has taken its place. The black liners, dama steel and dark wood scales are beautiful. Flipper deployment is excellent although the button lock detent is a little light in my opinion but satisfying also.The additional middle finger fuller on the blade works at treat too. As always Mitch and the team were excellent once again. Regards Marc

Good edc knife. First Civivi for me. Well priced, well made. Was pleasantly surprised. Shipping was great. I will be buying from adventure carry again in the future without a doubt.

Absolutely love this thing. The button lock is super fun to play with, it's sharp, it feels amazing in hand and pocket, and as always the swift delivery and service from Adventure Carry rules.

My first and certainly not my last civivi button lock. Wasn’t sold on button locks but this thing is brilliant and with the timber scales looks amazing. Super comfortable in hand and so far holding its edge great and always in my pocket. Can’t say enough good things about this knife. If your thinking of getting on just get it you will not be disappointed.

I had the button-lock Elementum (another simple classic) and and the Conspirator, and was very pleased with them and these were my only button lock knives, but the Chevalier had the sheeps foot blade that I find very useful in a work environment - good cutter and not threatening. The flipper on the Chevalier is a bit sloppy and was quite easy to fail, but on the other hand, the flipper tab didn't have to rip my finger off to get the blade open! I now like it. The button lock was also a bit unreliable for the first day or two, but now swings open and shut very smoothly - I use the button about half the time. The black blade was covered in a light oil at the start, and I thought I should keep it oiled - wrong! The blade looks best and keeps looking good when it is completely dry - a matte black.
I carry the knife in a leather slip, and that has dried out the micarta several times, after I lightly oiled with Boker Camellia oil. I think I will keep oiling, as I like the darker micarta look. The Civivi micarta on all 3 knives is very good quality,and has a good grip without fraying on the edges.
Delivery was super quick and the price was very competitive.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better knife with button lock and flipper at this price range. The action gets smoother over time and it's a great carry with the deep pocket clip.
