Description
The iMamba® from Arno Bernard is the product of legacy, patience, and pride in workmanship. Built entirely in-house by the Bernard brothers in South Africa, each knife carries the mark of hands-on craftsmanship at every stage. This is not a knife rushed from machine to box - it is carefully fitted, inspected, and refined, achieving tolerances of less than 0.01mm and a level of finish that reflects genuine attention to detail. What you feel in hand is intention — balance, precision, and care.
The blade is crafted from high-performance RWL 34 stainless steel and offered in hand-polished mirror belt satin, or refined stonewashed finishes and sharpened by hand, revealing a perfect crisp edge. A lightweight titanium frame and pocket clip keep the carry practical, while the locking interface is hand-lapped for full surface engagement and a bank volt lock-up.
Ceramic caged bearings deliver a smooth, glass-like action. The standard configuration features a rounded opening tab for confident one-handed use, while the ‘Delete’ version removes the tab for those fond of the reverse-flick opening style and clean outline. Measuring 7.9” overall and weighing just 4.3 ounces, the iMamba brings together heritage craftsmanship and modern performance in one refined, hard-use capable folder.
- Heritage Craftsmanship: Fully built and hand-finished in-house by the Bernard brothers in South Africa, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Premium steel: RWL 34 stainless steel blade with a hollow grind for outstanding edge retention and performance.
- Refined Finishes: Blades are finished separately: the stonewashed version is ground and polished before tumbling, while the mirror (satin-sheen) version receives a very fine tumble followed by hand-finishing, with untouched areas left brighter and mirror-like.
- Glass-Smooth Action: Friction-free caged ceramic ball bearings for effortless deployment.
- Titanium Frame & Clip: Lightweight, strong construction with a clean, minimal screw profile.
- Hand-Lapped Lock: Full surface engagement for strength, durability, and long-term reliability.
- Balanced Dimensions: 7.9” overall, 4.5” frame, 3.4” deep-bellied blade, 122g carry weight.
- Premium Inlays: Exotic natural materials and modern synthetic options available.
- Bearing or Washer Ready: Provided with thick washers for users who prefer the feel and durability of a washer pivot. Bearings installed by default.
Included with Knife:
- Turaco collector coin
- Leather slip
- Hand tied Kangaroo leather lanyard
- Cleaning Cloth
- Torx Keys
- A truly unforgettable unboxing experience!

Side by Side
This is my second Arno Bernard folding knife (bought my Turaco few months ago and very fidget friendly and excellent quality) and have been carrying in my pocket since I received it a week ago. Very happy with the quality and the mammoth molar inlay handle is very comfortable on the hand. Quite fridget friendly for a frame lock. Fast delivery and Excellent customer service from adventurecarry( my Imamba blade was off centered which could be due to flicking too much😊and contacted adventurecarry. Got quick reply and advice from Mitch and problem fixed👍.
I am a knife collector and have many knives like Spyderco, Benchmade etc and buying from different retailers online. Adventurecarry website will be my first choice to browse first because of fast delivery and excellent customer service service. Yes I will definitely recommend Arno Bernard Imamba to all knife enthusiasts and collectors.
The Imamba is a brilliant knife, glassy smooth action, solid as lock up, a perfect knife for everyday carry, plus a coin, tools and a hank, some of the best packaging in the game, 10/10 service from Adventure Carry as usual, thanks
This knife is....very special, you can feel the maker in the quality and finish.
The iMamba is tuned, the indent, balance and the pivot are so well designed. you know it was built by hand.
I am a lucky guy.
This is my first knife by Arno Bernard and I can say the fit and finish is amazing, the attention to detail is flawless. A big thank you to Mitch for bringing Arno Bernard to us.
So stoked to be able to buy a flipper-delete iMamba in Australia. The detent has been improved from the V1. Highly recommended.
