Based off the same design as the original Roach, the Kizer Roach Mini is an April 2022 new release designed by Matt Degnan. It retains the same great unique design of the Roach. The handle is designed with comfort and full grip in mind so you can tackle those heavier cutting tasks. The front finger choil and curves in the handle allow you to get a nice firm and full grip in hand. 154CM steel ensures your blade does not get blunt as quickly when you put it to task. The drop point blade has a nice bevelled features which makes the design even more outstanding.

We love the textured honeycomb G10 scales which gives the knife not only a unique look but also a firm grip. The spacer matches the pivot hardware which we thought was a nice touch.

Deployment of this knife is standard with all Kizers, nice and snappy. With either a thumbhole or removable flipper tab (for a cleaner look), there are multiple ways to open this knife to your hearts delight.

The Gemini has a nice lightweight profile (2.2mm blade, 1cm handle thickness, 101gm) thanks to its recessed liners, a perfect carry even for your boardshorts!

Slick little nipper

Love the action and blade shape on this little guy. My only criticism would be that the scales are quite abrasive- you could hear the grating on the fabric with each withdrawal from the pocket, but a pass with a fine sanding block took the bite right out of it!

Fantastic Cutter

Very pleased with this little knife. The ergonomics are spot on and the blade has an excellent hollow grind. Possibly the best grind on a knife at this price point. I was also pleased to measure the blade stock thickness at 2.8mm, not super thin but it's refreshing to have a knife made under 3mm. My only minor complaint is the action is quite stiff which is consistent with online reviews pointing this out on the black version. This did improve after a few hundred deployments and should be further improved by polishing the detent ball track and bearing recess. However the purpose of the mini roach is a cutting tool and for that it excels.

The Roach Mini

Thanks so much for the great service! The knife arrived before I told my wife I had ordered another one:)
I have been eyeing out Kizer for a while now and am really glad I have finally got hold of one of these, the blade geometry is insane and the action is fantastic, it’s hard to put down. Looking forward to purchasing another knife with Adventure Carry. Cheers!
