Lumi! small and slicey!

Lovely little knife, perfect for my pockets and light tackle bags. Super pointy tip makes short work of most light duty stuff. Well built, no play or flex.
Service was excellent, even out here to New Zealand

My Wife Loves Her Prison Shank - Lumi

Wanted a light weight, easily carried (even in gym pants) EDC for my wife. Good steel, super light weight & thin profile, fits the bill perfectly. This thing is a super slicer prison shank of knife with that hollow ground 2mm thick blade that is too easy to carry. I have never seen such a sharp slender tip on a knife ever, this thing could remove a splinter from your finger with precision. So far in 2 days of ownership it has opened food packets, cut croissants (in the restaurant) & that tip reseated a watch band pin on our son's watch in the park. The front flipper design was my only concern as I handed it to my wife but a session or two of practice while watching tv has both of us finger & thumb flicking it open with confidence so long as your hands are not greasy. Stiff fingers & hands will not work so learning to relax into the grip will have the knife in the most natural positions that will actually open it. A little more jimping would catch the finger better but it definitely works the way it is. Great feel in the hand with the Puukko styling & the micarta handle is beautiful & functional. And the most important thing, my wife really loves it. Mitch is all over the customer service & we received our order as quick as was humanly possible. Just need a loyalty program/pricing here to encourage more purchases!

Civivi Lumi - Micarta Green-There when you need it!

Great little knife. Micarta handle nice and grippy for completing tricky front flipping action.
Finger tip needs to be in the 10 o'clock position and move perpendicular to blade to get
a reliable flip.
Slim design, good quality handle, blade material and build quality.
Fits in pen pocket for easy carry at work or home for most cutting jobs.
There when you need it!

Love it!

Just got mine about an hour ago. Damn delays haha. Its a very cool little blade, and of course the fidget factor is fun. Put a little oil around the pivot and detent ball. Index flicks nicely now.

Thanks Mitch

Hi Josh, sorry to hear about the Aus Post delays but I'm really happy to hear your Lumi finally got to you. Good tip on the oil, always helps with new knives. Enjoy fidgeting with it.

Cheers,
Mitch

Nice little knife

It's a small knife but I like the size you don't know it's there when it's in your pocket I also like the blade shape it' cuts like crazy and the fit and finish is top notch it was centred and sharp out of the box and it has a nice action I just wish you could get the green scales without the black blade

Thanks Grant for your review & photo of your Lumi. Sure is a slicey blade. Green scales and satin blade, will pass that feedback on to Civivi!

Cheers,
Mitch
